Property Factor's Act

 The Property Factor's (Scotland) Act 2011 came into effect on 1st October 2012,  incorporating the new code of conduct for Property Factors (The Code).  A revised code was published and took effect from 16th August 2021.  Cassiltoun Housing Association, in line with this act, registered as a Property Factor effective from 19th December 2012. Our Property Factor Registration Number is PF000154, which you will see quoted on any documentation issued to you from the Association.

As a Registered Property Factor, The Association complies with the Code.  Therefore, in accordance with Section 1.1a of the Code the Association has produced a ‘Written Statement of Services’  which was written and revised in accordance with the Code.

The revised Written Statement of Services was issued in draft form to all factored owners for comment before being finalised and approved by the Board of Management.  The finalised Written Statement of Services was then issued to all factored owners and is available by clicking on the link below:
